Dr. Ludlow CrearySince 2000, Dr. Ludlow Creary has functioned as the medical director of Visiting Angels, which provides non-medical care to seniors and pre- and post-admission hospital patients. Dr. Ludlow Creary also serves on the Board of Directors of the Congress of Racial Equality and as the executive secretary of the Minority Health Foundation.
Earlier in his career, Dr. Ludlow Creary functioned as the chairman of and a professor in the Department of Family Medicine at LAC-King/Drew Medical Center for nearly 20 years. He also served as a professor of clinical family medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles, for four years.
Honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award in Medicine in 2017, Dr. Creary has received several additional distinctions, including awards for outstanding leadership and service, as well as a Distinguished Physician Award. Over the course of his career, he has successfully dispatched the duties of a vice president, chairman, practitioner, board member, consultant, and sponsor within numerous professional organizations.
An alumnus of Long Island University, Dr. Creary received an MD from the Howard University College of Medicine and an MPH from UCLA.
